Dry, chapped lips got you down?

Here is a quick and easy solution that you can do at home with items you already have in your kitchen. Here is what you'll need:



First start with any nice olive oil:


Dab your finger in olive oil and smear it on to those pouty lips of yours.


Then dip your finger in a little bit of sugar:


organic not required, any old sugar will do.

Gently rub the mixture together on your lips for about a minute.


Rinse and pucker up.

The sugar acts a not only as a scrubby mechanical exfoliant, but a chemical one as well, it’s what they make glycolic from. The olive oil is very nourishing and soothing and will remain on your lips after you rinse. You can top it off with a nice lip balm or just leave it and you’ll be set!
